These terms are the agreement between you and weRoundUp, Inc. ("weRoundUp", "we", "us") for using the weRoundUp app and website. By tapping Agree and continue, or by using the service, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use weRoundUp.
Who can use weRoundUp
You must be 18 or older and able to make a binding agreement. To send gifts you must be in the United States. People elsewhere may receive gifts where we allow it; we do not serve countries on the United States sanctions lists or others we block. You must give true information, keep your phone and sign-in safe, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. One phone number is one account, and signing in on a new phone signs the old one out.
What weRoundUp is
weRoundUp lets you chat, and buy and send digital gift cards and mobile top-ups, alone or together with others in a group gift. Gift cards and top-ups are supplied by Zendit and Relograde, third parties with their own terms, and are used at the brand or phone company named on them. We do not issue gift cards, do not hold a balance for you, and are not a bank.
Paying, fees and refunds
- The price, the service fee and the total are shown before you pay. The person receiving a card gets its full value; the service fee is on top.
- Cards are paid for through Stripe. For a group gift, each person's card is first held, not charged. When the holds reach the target amount, every hold is charged and the gift is bought. If the group does not reach the target by the deadline, every hold is released and nobody is charged.
- If we cannot deliver what you paid for, we refund it in full, normally within a few business days of the failure, depending on your bank.
- Once a gift card or top-up has been delivered it cannot be returned or exchanged through weRoundUp. Problems with a card after delivery, such as a balance, an expiry or a brand's own rules, are for the brand, and we will help you take them up.
- If you sent a card to someone who has not opened it yet, you can take it back in the app: open the card, then choose Take it back. The link stops working and the card returns to your Cards, where you can use it or send it to someone else. If nobody opens it within 30 days, the card also returns to your Cards. A card that has been bought is not refunded, because we cannot take it back from the supplier.
- You are responsible for the phone number or email address you type for the person you are sending to. We send the gift to exactly what you entered. If it is wrong, whoever opens the link can get the card, and we cannot take it back from them once it is opened. Only send to people who know you and would expect it.
- To protect you and others from fraud, we may delay delivering a gift card or top-up while we review an order, limit how much can be bought in a day, or ask you to confirm it is you. If we cancel an order after a review, we refund what you paid.
- If you ask your bank or card company to reverse a payment for something that was delivered, we may suspend your account and lock any cards you bought that have not been opened or used while it is looked into, and we may give the bank the records of the order. Please write to us first: we can usually fix a problem faster than a bank can.
- Monthly repeat top-ups continue until you cancel them in the app, and you will be reminded before each one.
How you may use it
You may not use weRoundUp to break the law, to harass, threaten or deceive anyone, to send sexual content involving anyone under 18 or any content that exploits or endangers a child, to buy gifts with stolen or borrowed payment details, to launder money, to avoid sanctions, or to interfere with the service. You may not copy, reverse engineer or resell the service. We may remove content, limit features, or close an account that breaks these rules, and we report child exploitation to the authorities as the law requires.
Chat and your content
You own what you send. You give us permission to store it, show it to the people you send it to, and handle it as our Privacy Policy describes. You are responsible for what you send. Anyone can report a message or block a person. We may review reported content.
Text messages (SMS program)
- Program: weRoundUp texts you sign-in codes, and notices about gifts you send or receive, plus receipts. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.
- How you agree: you give us your own number in the weRoundUp app and agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy before we send you a code. When you send a gift to someone who is not on weRoundUp, we text or email them a link once for each send.
- How often: one code each time you ask to sign in, and one text for each gift or receipt. Message frequency varies with what you do in the app.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply.
- To stop: reply STOP to any text and we will not text that number again. Texts about your own sign-in cannot be stopped while you want to sign in.
- For help: reply HELP, or write to hello@weroundup.co.
- Privacy: see our Privacy Policy. Phone numbers and text-message opt-in data are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Our service and its limits
We work to keep weRoundUp running but it is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise it will always be available or error free, or that a brand or supplier will keep a card working. To the most the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you for anything connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the problem. Some places do not allow these limits, and then they apply only as far as the law permits. Nothing here limits rights you cannot give up.
Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time and delete your account in the app. We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if we see suspicious activity (for example many orders in a short time or repeated declined payments), or to protect the service or others. Sections that by their nature should continue (for example fees owed, liability and disputes) continue.
Disputes and the law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, and disputes will be decided in the courts there, unless the law where you live gives you the right to go elsewhere. Please write to us first at hello@weroundup.co and we will try to put it right.
Changes and contact
We may change these terms. If a change matters we will tell you in the app and ask you to agree again. Questions: hello@weroundup.co.
