Why we exist
The group chat already does the hard part.
When someone has a birthday, a graduation or a hard month, the group already knows. The planning happens in the chat. Then the money part falls apart — someone fronts the cost, someone chases everyone, someone keeps a note of who paid.
weRoundUp keeps the gift in the same place as the conversation, so the people who planned it are the people it is from.

Trust is already there.
Carry the admin
Our job is not to manufacture trust with scores and ratings. It is to stop the admin wearing it down.

Years of showing up and paying in on time should build something.
Start close to home
The first groups are family, friends and community — people who will tell us the truth.
Where we are starting
Connecticut first.
We are opening to a small number of groups in Connecticut and the tri-state area, starting with communities we are part of. We would rather get it right for a few hundred people who will tell us the truth than launch everywhere at once.
Gifting is where we start. Savings circles come later.
