What is weRoundUp?
A group chat where gifting happens inside the conversation. Send a gift card to someone, or open a group gift that everyone chips into, with all your names on it.
Is this a bank?
No. weRoundUp does not hold your money. When you send a gift, you are buying a gift card.
How is this different from Venmo or Cash App?
Those move money between two people. weRoundUp is built around the group: who is in it, what everyone has put in, and whose turn it is.
How is this different from a gift card site?
Gift card sites sell a card. Here, the gift happens in the chat with the people it is from, and the record adds up over time.
What does it cost?
Launch pricing is still being finalized. Any fee will be shown clearly before money moves.
Where are you available?
The first groups will be in Connecticut, with wider US availability to follow.
Who does the gift come from?
In a group gift, the card goes out with the names of everyone who chipped in.
What happens if a group gift does not fill up?
